Your pavers and pool surrounds take more punishment than almost any other surface on the property, and microcement is one of the toughest, best-looking ways to finish them. This complete 20m² Ecoflor® Pavement & Pool Surround Kit contains everything you need to take a concrete substrate through to a fully sealed, slip-resistant architectural concrete finish, built specifically for life outdoors, and finished in the same colour range as our Floor and Wall Kits, so your indoors and outdoors can flow together as one continuous look.

The kit follows a two-coat cement system engineered for exterior durability: a coarse structural base coat that builds body and bridges minor surface imperfections, followed by a fine finish coat for a smooth, refined texture. A 2K polyurethane matt sealer, blended with our EcoGrip Anti-Slip additive, locks it all in, delivering safe underfoot traction around pools, alfresco areas and walkways while protecting against UV, pool chemicals, foot traffic and everyday weather. Your Liquid Colour Dispersion is included as standard with every kit, so your chosen shade is ready to go with nothing extra to source.

This kit is formulated specifically for exterior concrete pavement and pool surround applications, and does not include Ecoflor® Micro Cement SUPER FINE, the ultra-fine finish coat used for internal, smooth flooring only. 1Concrete Modifier Primer

Locks the system to your prepared external concrete. All external concrete needs acid etching plus high-pressure washing before priming.

2600 Cement Base Coat

Trowelled on for complete, uniform coverage, building the structural foundation of the finish.

3Sand & Re-Prime

The base coat is sanded smooth, vacuumed and re-primed ahead of the finish coat.

4300 Cement Finish Coat

Applied as the final cement layer in your selected Ecoflor colour, giving the surface the texture it needs for slip resistance underfoot.

5Final Prep for Sealing

Cement build-up is removed and the surface is lightly sanded and vacuumed, ready for sealing.

Pool Surrounds & Wet-Edge Areas

Do I need to remove my existing pavers or coating first?

This kit applies directly over prepared external concrete and other compatible cementitious substrates. Existing pavers, tiles or coatings that aren't structurally bonded to the slab need to come up first.

Can I use this kit on my driveway?

We don't recommend it. The system itself can handle the load, but hot tyres can mark or scuff the finish, so it's best kept to pedestrian surfaces like pathways, alfresco areas and pool surrounds.

How do I prepare my pavement or pool surround before applying the kit?

External concrete needs to be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil and contaminants, then acid etched and high-pressure washed before priming. Concrete must be at least 28 days old with moisture below 5%. Get in touch and we'll talk you through substrate-specific prep, including pool coping and step edges.

Is this kit slip-rated for pool surrounds?

Yes. Ecoflor® EcoGrip Anti-Slip is included in every kit and blended into the final sealer coat, giving you a P4 slip rating for general pavement and alfresco areas, or a higher-dose P5 rating, Australia's highest wet-area slip class, for pool coping and wet-edge decking.

Will the finish crack along joints or existing cracks?

Existing control joints are maintained through the finished system, and any moving cracks are repaired with epoxy injection before the kit is applied, helping prevent cracking over time.

Can I match this to my indoor Ecoflor floors or walls?

Yes. This kit shares the same 7-colour range as our Floor and Wall Kits, so you can carry one colour from your indoor floors straight out through the pool surround or pavement for a continuous, colour-matched look.

What's your warranty and returns policy?
