Microcement is one of the most versatile surface finishes available, and the Ecoflor® Bench & Joinery Kit brings that same premium result to the smaller, more detailed surfaces in your home. Designed specifically for benchtops, cabinetry, shelving, TV units and similar joinery, this complete 10m² kit gives you everything needed to transform existing surfaces into a seamless, architectural concrete finish without replacement or major renovation.

The kit follows the same proven system as our tile covering range, starting with a Blocca Rete bonding primer and aggregate base that locks the system to the substrate. Two coats of 300 Cement are then applied to build body and refine the surface, before an ultra-fine Micro Cement finish coat delivers a smooth, matt result with genuine depth and character. The fibreglass mesh is embedded at the base of the system to support application over joins, edges and surfaces prone to minor movement. A 2K polyurethane matt sealer completes the system, protecting the finished surface against moisture, staining and daily use. The Prymaren and Ecostar sealer combination used in this kit has been independently tested and confirmed food safe, making it suitable for kitchen bench applications.

Suitable for a wide range of substrates including laminate, MDF, marble, tiles, concrete and blockwork, this kit is well suited to indoor applications and is also suitable for covered outdoor surfaces such as alfresco benches and BBQ surrounds. Liquid colour dispersions are included when a colour is selected, giving you access to Ecoflor's full palette without any additional sourcing.
