Bathroom and laundry floors need to look good and stay safe underfoot when wet. The 10m² Ecoflor® Microcement Tile Covering Kit is built specifically for wet area floors, letting you apply a seamless architectural concrete finish directly over existing floor tiles and waterproofing membranes, without a single tile needing to come up. With EcoGrip Anti-Slip included, the finished floor delivers the refined look of microcement with the added grip wet areas demand.

The system starts with an Ecoflor® PrimeLock bonding primer and aggregate base that locks everything to the existing tiles. The fibreglass mesh is embedded at the base of the system to reinforce the microcement over grout lines and surface irregularities, giving the floor structural integrity and preventing cracking over time. Two coats of 300 Cement then build body and refine the surface, before an ultra-fine Micro Cement finish coat delivers a smooth, matt result with genuine depth and character. Prymaren pre-sealer and Ecostar 2K polyurethane matt sealer complete the system, protecting the floor against water, staining and daily foot traffic.

Anti-slip for wet areas. Ecoflor® EcoGrip Anti-Slip is a clear, slip rating accredited additive of fine silica spheres that is mixed into the final coat of sealer. It adds grip where water collects, in front of the shower, beside the bath or around the laundry tub, while keeping the floor easy to clean and comfortable barefoot. The additive is clear, so your chosen colour and finish stay exactly as intended.

Floor-ready. The kit includes enough Prymaren WB Primer (Pre-Sealer) and Ecostar 2K PU Protectant Matt for two coats of each across 10m², the quantity needed for floor applications, so there's nothing extra to add. Liquid colour dispersions are included when a colour is selected, giving you access to Ecoflor's full palette without any additional sourcing.

Living Areas

Bedrooms, living spaces, hallways and other dry interior areas. Applied as standard, the finish achieves a P2 slip rating, the standard for living areas and commercial floors. No additives needed.

Wet Areas

Bathrooms and laundries. We recommend adding Ecoflor® EcoGrip Anti-Slip to your final coat for an accredited P4 slip rating, which meets building code requirements for wet areas and is safe for family or commercial floors.

How do I prepare the tiles before applying the kit?

Will the finish crack along my grout lines?
