For mid-to-large tiled areas that fall between our standard and large-format kits, the 45m² Ecoflor® Microcement Tile Covering Kit delivers the same no-removal solution as our 15m² and 30m² kits, scaled to cover more ground in a single order. Apply a seamless architectural concrete finish directly over existing floor and wall tiles, waterproofing membranes and other non-absorbent surfaces, without a single tile needing to come off the wall or floor.

The kit includes a fibreglass mesh support system that is embedded into the base of the system to reinforce the microcement over grout lines and surface irregularities, giving the finished surface structural integrity and preventing cracking over time. From there, the proven three-coat cement system builds through to an ultra-fine finish coat that delivers a smooth, matt surface with genuine depth and character. A 2K polyurethane matt sealer completes the system, protecting the finished surface against moisture, staining and everyday wear.

Suitable for floor tiles, wall tiles and direct application over waterproofing membranes, this kit is a practical and cost-effective solution for larger bathrooms, open-plan kitchens, laundries and commercial spaces. Liquid colour dispersions are included when a colour is selected, giving you access to Ecoflor's full palette without any additional sourcing. Not sure where to start? Covering a floor? This kit is formulated with the standard wall-application sealer quantity. Floors typically require two coats of both Prymaren WB Primer (Pre-Sealer) and Ecostar 2K PU Protectant Matt — please add these separately to your cart to suit your floor area.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders ship with full transport insurance via FedEx/TNT Road Express, so damage or loss in transit is covered. Commercial addresses get the fastest, most cost effective delivery; residential delivery is available Australia wide but carries a higher carrier charge, and unattended parcels can be left at the door under Authority to Leave once you accept that option at checkout. Palletised orders need forklift or suitable unloading equipment at the delivery address, or can be collected from a FedEx/TNT Customer Collection Centre with your own means of loading the pallet. Free pickup is also available from the Carrum Downs warehouse, with orders usually ready within 24 hours.

Wet Areas or Living Areas?

Living Areas

Bedrooms, living spaces, hallways and other dry interior areas. Applied as standard, the finish achieves a P2 slip rating, the standard for living areas and commercial floors. No additives needed.

Wet Areas

Bathrooms and laundries. We recommend adding Ecoflor® EcoGrip Anti-Slip to your final coat for an accredited P4 slip rating, which meets building code requirements for wet areas and is safe for family or commercial floors.

Do I need to remove my existing tiles first?

No. This kit applies directly over your existing floor tiles, wall tiles or waterproofing membrane. No removal required.

How do I prepare the tiles before applying the kit?

Give the tiles a thorough clean and allow them to dry fully before applying the PrimeLock primer. There's no need to scuff or etch the surface.

Will the finish crack along my grout lines?

The kit includes a fibreglass mesh support system embedded into the primer coat, reinforcing the microcement over grout lines and surface irregularities to help prevent cracking over time.

What's your warranty and returns policy?

This kit is covered by a 5-year warranty for interior use. Tile resurfacing is not recommended for exterior applications. Every kit also includes free 30-day returns.

Do you provide recommendations for installers?

We don't provide installer recommendations: Ecoflor is built as a system you can apply yourself. The kits, our step-by-step guides and support team are designed to put a professional finish within reach of anyone willing to back themselves, whether you're a competent DIY renovator, a tradie or a builder.

Do you provide colour chips prior to purchase?
